Fabricated Insulation

Designed for ease of application over large diameter tanks, vessels, and pipes or any curved surface requiring the benefits of Stone Wool, Polyisocyanurate, Foamglas®, Phenolic, Perlite, Calcium Silicate or Extruded Polystyrene.

FOAMGLAS® Fabricated Pipe and Fitting Insulation

Foamglas® insulation can be fabricated for pipes, equipment, vessels, and tanks. These fabricated pieces can be found in chemical processing lines, above and underground steam piping along with chilled water piping. Cellular glass insulation has operating temperatures from -268° to 482°C.

GreatROC® Fabricated Pipe and Fittings

Fabricated from stone wool bonded with a high-temperature binder. The resulting product is precisely fabricated to fit NPS and tube sizes for both commercial and industrial applications. The temperature range is from -20ºF to 1400ºF. GLT Fabricator stone wool fabricated pipe insulation is a water repellent yet vapor permeable material. All fabricated stone wool pipe insulation is made to order. Please consult your GLT Fabricators sales rep for custom ordering details.

Extruded Polystyrene Fabricated Pipe and Fittings

Extruded Polystyrene Pipe Insulation (XPS) is a rigid, closed cell insulation offering excellent resistance to water and water absorption from freeze-thaw cycling. XPS Extruded Polystyrene Pipe Insulation has a service temperature range of -297°F to 165°F.

Phenolic Fabricated Pipe and Fittings

Phenolic foam insulation is a closed-cell rigid phenolic foam insulation, fabricated in a variety of shapes and sizes to meet your exact specifications. This rigid insulation is supplied in the form of large buns for fabrication into pipe, curved segments, sheets, tank and vessel coverings, and other shapes for a variety of thermal insulation applications. It has a service temperature range of -297°F to 257°F.

Polyisocyanurate insulation

Polyiso Fabricated Pipe and Fittings

Polyisocyanurate pipe insulation is a closed cell, high-performance insulation for pipe, vessel, equipment and duct applications. Can be used within the service range of -297°F to 300°F. GLT Fabricators also uses foam material manufactured by Duna Group USA for our fabrication processes. Please discuss with your sales rep if you have any special needs.

Calcium Silicate Fabricated Pipe and Fittings

Calcium Silicate pipe and block insulation is the product of choice for high-temperature pipe and equipment due to its high strength and durability, low thermal conductivity and corrosion inhibiting performance. Calcium Silicate insulation is especially recommended for use in the petrochemical, power generation and process industries where piping and equipment operating up to 1,200°F.
